Life Institute conducted trials where Matthieu Ricard, a French Buddhist monk who resides at Shechen Tennyi Dargyeling Monastery in Nepal and  Tibet‘s spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama took part. And it was concluded that brain training in the form of meditation can cause an overwhelming change in levels of happiness.”

According to a report in the November-2012 issue of Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, meditation can have measurable effects on how the brain functions even when someone is not actively meditating. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, describes meditation very eloquently: “Mind without agitation is meditation. Mind in the present moment is meditation. Mind that has no hesitation, no anticipation is meditation. Mind that has come back home, to the source, is meditation. Mind that becomes no mind’s meditation.”
